Also, I signed a thank-you card for the gifts you gave in December, I want to remind you that I think it's wonderful that you are thinking about me and my neighbors at the Towers. You are so kind. The irony is not lost in me, in that it reminded me that I forgot to send you a thank-you note for the air conditioner. (I really intended to do so.) I really wonder if I would have survived the summer without it. I can only plead that I have had a couple of health crises over the past couple of months, and have been a little preoccupied. So I can only offer my thanks for this, that, and the many things you do for so many people, probably in spite of your own problems.
